Recently purchased TRPAH from AMFM Energy. I just tried it out this past weekend, burnt 1/4 bag of Turmans. I was burning on 5/6, and it did not seem to get real hot, just a warm air. I put my temp prob on it and it read only 165 degrees. I used my existing hook up from my Thelin Gnome, not wanting to cut more holes in wall. My venting is out to tee, vertical 32 inches, 90 straight out the wall 2' horizontal. I know Im short of Englander recommended 3' vertical, but I called them and they said it was fine. Im still learning this stove, and need help with getting more heat out of her. I do have an oak hooked up, so it should be getting enough air. The flame was dancing and whiteish in color, did notice glass got a white haze after an hour, not bad though. Being new to this stove I would appreciate any helpful knowledge from the brain trust that is this great forum. (I did not play with the "untouchable" 3 buttons)
There are ways to tell what the settings are but why not give englander a call?? They are the pros and though I can't speak for them I am pretty sure they don't mind.
