When I first got on this forum I never thought I would post 3000 times. Not a lot compared to many of you, but a lot for a guy who isn't to social. I just want to thank everyone here for being such good friends. Hard to believe you can make such good friends without actually meeting. I have enjoyed it so far. Oh, and despite thinking I knew quite a bit after burning wood for 40 years, I have learned a lot.

Heres to another 3k.

Chief, you think you got it bad, I'm almost at 8400 posts in under 2 years........what the heck is wrong with me??;lol

Congrats Chief, I'm really glad to have met you on here, and I love the posts and pictures you put up. Some of the nicest woodstacks on the planet are in your backyard! Not to mention the sound advice you give, first class all the way. Keep those posts and pics coming, brother!

I'm getting dangerously close to 6000 myself and I never, ever, saw that coming. And I don't even talk firewood that much. I'm just hangin' out in The Gear blathering on about saws, trucks, tractors and whatnot.

Chief, your comeback from your accident is inspiring, keep up the great posts!

I learn something new almost every day on here.
I don't even remember 3000o_O

Steve, just remember your Hearth.com friends when you get into the Guinness record book!:)

Gary
I don't think you all have anything to worry about ;lol

Chief, I am proud to call you a friend. I've enjoyed your posts and will never forget that summer when you quit posting. That was the terrible accident and we know you are not totally over that yet and still have other challenges. Together, I think we can make it.

And I sure wish I could have helped you and your son on those pin oaks. Big suckers they were.

Oh Dennis, I could say a lot of things here but I think you already know what's in my heart. And I would have loved to had you here helping with the big Pin Oaks. See you soon.

Looking forward to it Steve.

I think the most special post was the one with your son, back in the driver's seat. All the best to you and your family chief.
