Ouch! That's quite a flesh wound! Hope everything turns out well! I had a tree fall on my truck, glad I wasn't in it!

That's bad. I hope he can gain full use of it again.

That is one nasty wound. His leg will be messed up for a long time. I once had a limb come down on an ambulance I was driving. Like any other MVA, this is very stressful. You can ride around town and find trees with dead limbs overhanging the roads almost anywhere. Several trees down on homes in this area during the past 48 hours with all these thunder storms. Thousands lost power.
Hope your friend has insurance and a good recovery.

man he is lucky he got away with his life. Hope he gets through it and turns out ok.

Holy cats!!!!! Man that is a freak accident; it's bad but I guess it could've been worse-still that is bizarre!

I hope he has a fast recovery and all is good! Wow.....

What kind of wood? Something with a "bad ass attitude"! _g

Ouch! Prayers for a speedy and full recovery.

That's gotta be red maple...

That for sure is really nasty. I'd say he was lucky but I'm betting he does not feel lucky. We wish him well.

Hope it doesn't affect his walking long term. Looks like a lot of muscle tissue is torn.

That one is gona take a while to heal. BS is right, he's lucky it didn't sever a main artery.
Hope the surgery goes well for him.

Wishing him the best for a speedy recovery.

That is one nasty wound. Hoping he makes a full recovery. Wishing him the best.

Happened two minutes after leaving home, his fiance was driving. Just missed artery and bounced off femur. Severed 2.5 quad muscles. Wound still open, should be closing it up after another surgery tomorrow.

Wow freak accident, that is a nasty wound

Yeah. The impact pushed an air bubble under the knee cap. They are exploring that tomorrow to see if debris came in with the air as well as going over everything else again that they already cleaned. Got him on heavy antibiotics. Hopefuly he dont come down with an infection.
