No tailgate? No problem!

Started to move wood from the stacks in the woods to my shed - tailgate of the s-10 came off in my hands. Whoops.
I have to back the truck down a 15 degree or so grade to my stacks to load. Managed to cantilever skinny pieces jammed into the second row to hold down the third and topped them with heavy splits on top to keep them in place. Definitely set a personal volume record with this load. Locust, oak, sass, and maple with some other oddball stuff. Will post the shed once she's filled.




These stacks are becoming overgrown. Too much trimmer work, and 2 months later it looks like a lost Amazon pyramid again. Abandoning this spot and doing a wood fence on the lawn.

Cool, thanks- I'll give it a shot then. Round bit on bottom might be too rusted out though. Wanted to plow through and haven't looked at it yet.

hahaha...I do now. Dinged up the round connectors good but still easy to beat back into round and put back on. Never even thought about removing it.
