Good news

This past week, my Harmy (P61) brought his two brothers here, Harmy2 (P61-2) from CT and HarmyA (P61a) from Exeter NH! ! !
Now I have the 3 Amigos and I am also working on upgrading them all to P61a-2 ! ! ! Lots of fun!
With up to 183k of BTUs between them our house will sizzle!

I don't name my cars, stoves or refrigerators. But if I did pick a name for the stove it would be Lea. That way I could walk by it and greet it with a 'Hiya Lea' and be off to the races.

The Mean 17...

I will occasionally refer to my stove as the Oz. But honestly mostly in my own head. I feel like a real weirdo saying that out loud.

FWIW i want to go back and give all our current models names, but i was thinking about old battlesites like "GEttysburg" "Bastogne" and such. i think it would be just too kool

gotta get the boss on board though

Suggestion for the 30-NC. The Abrams.

My wife sometimes refers to it as "my mistress."

But I need to think of a really good name for my stove.

All soapstone stoves should be called "The Rock".

WORK ! but it keeps the oil tank from getting lighter

wow thats pretty!
My friend in another state has an Esse and as we got emailing back and forth about using our stoves, he came up with that.. So our stoves got the name Miss Esse.. It is a really robust stove for sure...

I heard this years ago on this site and instantly related........ I call mine "Lugwood"

Woody.

I call mine The Performer as the name it was given.

The name is cast across the top of the door.

Dont touch your computer screen you might get burnt.

mostly for the little tykes
and sometimes for the not so little tykes

Because there was no training necessary, I felt no need to name the stove. Yelling commands such as "here stove" would be silly and might get me locked up.

But if it could fetch wood - that would be really cool. Then I would give it a really cool name.

No . . . unless you count the name of the model that the manufacturer gave it.
