Time to find a electrical meter to test the auger control. At least the igniter is good. A digital meter should run less than $20

Whatever it turns out being you have to promos to let me know what it turned out being . it's driving me nuts lol

If was working when you bought it it probably would have been five times what you paid. It's close to running. I am fighting the demons of a recent purchase but don't need it to keep my butt warm, yet. Good luck

Picked up a multi meter tonight after work...what do I have to set that at to check the timer module as I never used one before...and which 4 pins across the bottom of the timer module do I check...thanks for any help need to get this running soon

Sorry I'm at worg now but I will check when I get home in morning . 4 now you can look on YouTube to learn how to use that meter

hello, i tested it on ACV 200 on the multi meter and when i pushed start the numbers went all over the place for a split second and then right after that while it was running it was at 01.0 and on the 500 setting it was at 001
thats 1 volt

Check the bottom of page 6 . Tells you how to test dial a fire . If it is ok replace timer control

OK I think we may have found the problem then . I just did the same test on mine and I had the same result at first ...when I hit the start button the volts spike then go down to 1 volt just like you but then about every 3 seconds they spike again and the auger turns ....... Im guessing the spike in volts is it sending the power to the auger. yours is not doing that it is just staying at 1v and not paulsing like mine is

But before ordering a new one I would go threw all those steps in the manual again to make sure you did the buy-passing right ....

Looking like it's a faulty auger motor timer, the blue rectangle box mounted to the lower right rear corner of the ef3.

I got one for $33.50 + shipping last March. http://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-35659-infitec-time-delay-relay.aspx

That's the one they list on their website but I had them send me the 2-second timer instead; it maintains a more consistent flame. Their P/N 138629JS, description TRS51A31S2 PELLET STOVE TIMER 2 X 2.

wait a minute !!!!!!! Check this out it make perfect scence ......https://www.hearth.com/talk/threads/auger-not-working-enviro-ef3.100591/

There may be more than 1 problem !!!!! so when you by-pass one thing the other is still stopping it from working... So you should put a by-pass on all 3 things ( the vacuum , the dial a fire , and that temp switch ) try all 3 and if it works than un do the buy passes 1 at a time till you find witch ones are bad ...... and if it dose not work with all 3 by-passed then it has to be that blue modual but i'm thinking it is the top one not bottom as the bottom is a 15 min timer for the exhaust fan and the top is a timer for the auger

Wow that's a good price .. Are you sure it is the bottom blue box ???? bottom 1 is a 15 min timer for the exhaust fan ... The top one is a the auger timer

Sorry, one of those "mounted to the lower right rear corner." The auger timer. Don't remember if it is the "bottom" one. Looks like you've figured out which one it is, good work!

well i got it going went through the steps again and i was bypassing the dial a fire wrong... when i did jump it the proper way the auger started turning on and off....i think the contact in the dial a fire switch was stuck closed....because i hooked it back up and turned the switch on 10 or 15 times and now the switch is working....thanks to everyone who helped me with this...

If it stuck once it probably will stick again, probably sooner than later. Probably not giving a good contact if it had corroded closed.
