Technically if you don't have an OAK. You already have an inside air kit. Its called the air leaks about the house. One big hole in the wall would cause one heck of a draft. Just crack a window for a trial an error.

The easiest way to add an OAK is the newer thimble kits. You don't need another hole in the house. Draw back is you need to remove the pipe and replace the thimble. Pellet Vent Pro has one.

Another could be a basement hook up. Run the OAK to the basement through the floor, Basement might be drafty anyways so you wouldn't need to add a hole to the outside. Some manuals have examples of basement intakes.

fire uses a TON of oxygen. after about 5 min of running, most of the air in your house has been burned and it starts sucking in through drafts.

It might work? It that room is that drafty, It may just draw in more cold air. Only way to know for sure is try it. Keep us posted.

yeah, a SIPAK (screened in porch air kit :X) might work for you. effectively, it's outside air.

but if its open to your house, eventually that room will run out of good air and the stove will suck in from outside just the same in short time.
