Can anyone tell me how to a replace an igniter on Glowboy pellet stove? My stove is a bay window stove. Any help would be appreciated. Some guys here last year figured out for me my exhaust fan was gone and told me how to replace it. Thanks to all you guys rock. Randy!!

My glow boy is older but when you remove the burn pot there is a screw holding the igniter in. Remove that igniter screw and pull the igniter towards the front of the stove. You may have to unhook the igniter leads from the wiring harness first. (My leads are long enough to pull it to the front of the stove)

Then you will see three set screws hold the igniter in. Order a new one from McMaster Carr and replace it. 250 watt works just fine for me

Hi, Thanks that was very kind of you to take your time to answer me. My stove is about 5 years old so will these instructions still work? Thanks!!

Yea the didn't change much towards the end. You can get the igniter from McMaster Carr for about $20. You can also light it manually or with a propane torch if need be.

So I can change my igniter from the front as you said earlier? I bought mine on feebay for $80..... I light mine with a propane torch by it gets smoke and stuff in the house. Turns the paint over time.

Sorry but I can't seem to remove the igniter from the inside f the stove and there is no set screw holding it in. The inginter is inside a pipe that extends out into the burn pot. You must have to remove it from the side or back of the stove. my stove is exactly like this.
