Nice set up with the splitter.;) What do you use a 2 inch ball hitch on the four wheeler?

Luv it! Is that a Husky in the front basket?

Looks like maybe ten splits on the back of the 4 wheeler .. that aint much work ! ;) ;lol

I said fun, not work!

The stack is all red oak. One tree that was a great lesson for me. The oak won't be ready for years so it's staying there for now. On the back of the ATV is some ash that I took down to the house for next year. Stacking room is getting tight by the house.

Nice Cascade! Wondering why you did not lay some runners down to stack the wood off the ground?

Nice idea on the gas can bungeed to the beam

I just stack the first course bark down. Doesn't seem to make a difference compared to what I put on pallets.

We have stacked without putting something under to raise the wood and can get away with it because of our soil conditions. However, I still prefer stacking off the ground. When stacked on the ground, it is usually best to leave that last row or two to burn the following year; put it on top of your next piles rather then burn right away.
