Sweeping the chimney and having nothing but white powder with teeny tiny black flecks in it. Chimney sweep said "Whatever you're doing, keep it up! Dry wood and hot fires make for this." Time to burn baby! Oh how I missed my stove. ()

Looking at four cord of seasoned wood ready to go.
Now lets get some cold weather this year!

Yup, sounds like you're doing it right...me, on the other hand, not so lucky:(

Just swept mine this afternoon. Maybe 1 cup of chit, since last year.

Season that wood folks. Thanx, Denny!!!

Happiness is waking up to 20° outside and it's warm in your house.

Good job fireview. Keep it dry and hot.
I have to go to the "big city", AGAIN, this weekend. While I am there, I have to pick up the remaining supplies needed to clean both of my stoves.
I know for a fact that I am going to get a lot more than that from my pellet stove. As for the wood burner. I think that I will be pretty good there.

Okay KC, it is time to quit giving me credit. You, my friend, deserve all the credit. You have done some fantastic work these last couple of years.

Having the chimney sweep come out is like when you used to get a report card in school. Sounds like you got straight As!
