We liked our PE Summit so much at our last home we decided to install it in our new home. This home was built with our character and design in mind. Its rustic, the ceiling is done with wood from 100+ barn, the mantle a 90lb piece of white oak finished with tug oil and wax.

Not for everyone but definitely our style!

Nice stuff, and just my style! Enjoy!

That is beautiful. The stove looks pretty good too. ;lol

Yes, the floors are varied width red oak finished with hand rubbed tung oil. A lot of work but we love the muted look!
I put maple in our new place, but I've had a ton of trouble with cupping and buckling. I've subsequently heard oak is less susceptible to this and yours look very nice. They compliment the ceiling really well.

Thats sweet !!

Nice!
Would look even more rustic with T&G pine or Log siding on the walls.
Good job!

Gorgeous! Looks like you have a lot of space there too.

Love the cathedral ceiling and the wood it's made of, as well as the hearth and floor. Would love to see more pics of the home and the room.

Nice. The old barn board is cool.

Still looks pretty green down there. The color is really starting to change here in New England.
