during really cold weather no problem , but during what you folks would call shoulder periods and especially when operating on auto/off , my burn pot gets full of ash . it's not a big deal to shut the stove off once a day and dump the ash into the ash tray , but heck if i didn't have to and the stove would run more efficiently ......








they are absolutely the same except for the hole pattern on the bottom . yes you could drill out those small holes on the original , but the OA (open area ) would not approach the hi ash one and you wouldn't have the original to revert to if it didn't work out or didn't work as well in colder times when your stove is cranked .

$51.50 so $60 delivered . Enviro part# 50-587 there's another one for ef5's .

we'll see . will report back on any results .

just a lil update , this really works great . not really burning season yet , but i've burned several bags through it and my burnpot is totally clear ! sweet

Nice pics and good report thanks. I just ordered the high ash burn pot for an EF-3 I am fixing. That will be much better!
