The real long one are his neighbor guys the a are working on the house next door to him. They cut the trees down, and I help by choke holding the logs back to the pile. I have to learn to say stop no more wood.

If you have the space I see no reason to ever say no!

Damn! That'll keep ya busy.

Geeze, 'slottawood! Then again, Don't ya have have some extra cupboard space, partially empty closet, unused attic places and maybe a not-quite-full car trunk? Can't say no to wood...

Take it. Double stack it;)

A lot of the wood is cut up, some a little short, some to long. I have not even begun to start cutting yet, just splitting

Wow; that's a stash!

I had to say no this week. I saw a CL ad that offered to deliver a cut maple tree for FREE in my town. After having received a red maple 2 weeks ago and a sugar maple 2 weeks before that I HAD to pass because I'd like to keep my marriage intact!

Was hard to let it go, but you can do it, brother!

Bit of a slippery slope that word "no". Willow, cotton , linden, coniffers at my place will get declined, box elder is iffy at best. Most everything else I will find a way, but then I am at least 3 years ahead.

After 27 years of marriage, wife really does not care to much what I do with my hobbies (nothing dumb or I will be out the door, if you know what I mean ). Except there must be room in the garage for her car, and clean up after my self. Im very lucky to have my bride.

fespo, it does not appear that you have many problems at all. Just keep it as neat as possible and keep on cutting and splitting.

And this morning I'm saying no to myself on this sweet little free CL score:

Oak Wood Trees Cut Recently Short Lengths Easy Takeaway

I have keep telling myself there will be more when I get sufficiently caught up on processing what I already have!

I shook when I saw this......I'd be in hot water with the Wife....but I'd have to at least get one truck load if it were near me

To a wood addict this is like a free pile of crack. Hard to resist, for sure! :)

Okay.....where is it

South Windsor. Check CL. If you want it, it's ALL yours...I'm too chicken!
HOLY CRAP !.....that's more than half way across the state for me....wish it were closer....like next town over, or better yet, next door

And I have to say no again today. If I was smart I'd stop looking at CL so all the stuff I have to pass up almost daily wouldn't bother me!

FREE OAK WOOD

Freshly cut oak. MUST take all, small and big. The largest pieces are roughly 40" in diameter. Bring your saws and trucks and have a good old time. Leave your name and number. Do not email if you don't want it all.
