I just installed a cab50( what a pain) but i go to fire it up and it lights normally and the flame height seems fine, however the convection fan not blowing. I turn the thermostat down because i dont want it to build up to much heat and fry something and then the convection fan starts blowing when its cooling down. Am i being too quiick to act by turning down the thermostat and not letting it warm up enough?

Thanks for any feedback

there is a snap switch (temp driven) for the fan...be patient.

Yes, a lot of stoves need to close the convection fan switch or an ESP so stove can get to a efficient burn mode before cooling itself and possibly causing creosote and other products of a incomplete burn.

i waited longer and it starts right up thanks for the input here come the heat!
We have the PS50-very happy with it.......Welcome to the world of pellet heat!

3rd season of cab50.

From start to full blow can take 15-20 minutes.

Let it run...
