backhoe 003.JPG And when the friend has a backhoe, wood ,its even better. My friend Butch will swing the logs over I cut them on the trailer and stack them. So far got 12 loads. on load #11, a log moved not sure how, but flipped me on my butt. glad I had the hardhat on. than leaving Butch's house , turned the corner, 200ft. flat road. AH no brakes, OOOH boy. after the 200ft. its all down hill on a winding road for about 2 miles. Parking brake didn't work either .well my truck has all new brake lines and a axle seal now.

Wow ! thank GOD no one was seriously hurt . Nothing like having a big hand to push over trees. :cool: AND welcome to the forum BILL !

The last load was red Oak, And from reading this web site I learned that has to sit for a while. The tree Butch knocked down was a ash. IM no expert on the different kinds of trees but IM learning. thank you
 
How'd you stop the truck... dump it in low gear and kill the ignition?
