I could also use an aquastat to shut off the pellet stove if i run the feed for the stove through a relay and have the aqua stat trigger it.

You would want to use the contacts on an aquastat in place of a thermostat for the stove the only issue then becomes using that single aquastat on your boiler to control two different voltage mismatched circuits. Even then what you are measuring for a temperature is not going to necessarily be the same as what that third party water jacket you attached to the stove is at and you still have the shut down time issue with the solid fuel device (stove).
Aquastats generally control the firing of the burner on the boiler whether it be oil or gas and not a circulater pump.
You would use 2 aquastats 1st with your main control on your boiler and the 2nd wired into your augar motor so if it over temps to sut off your fuel supply.
I'm just starting to look into installing a crosslink kit into my P68. Just want to make sure it's worrth the $1700 + shipping.
If I do install 1 I'll post it in full detail. It will be fully auto with pellets and oil.
