Different stove but similar btus rating

All numbers are approximates

Setting
1=2lbs/hr
2=3.25/hr
3=4.5/hr
4=5.5/hr
5=6.5/hr

Pellets that are longer or not as dense will lower these numbers a tad,just as small and dense pellets will raise these numbers

Hopefully this gives you a bit of a reference

Thanks, from my notes from the tech last year, that I just came across in the manual, they said
1=1.5-2
2=2.25.2.75 (ideal was 2.5)
3=3.5-4
4=5-5.5
5=6
6=6.5-7.5

I use the standard size pellets 1-1.5", I would like to find longer 1.5-2 but no where to be found

shorter pellets can cause the stove to over feed from the numbers you posted by 15-25% from the numbers you are posting i dont think the stove is over feeding at all you might want to try a t-stat Enviro when they first launched the M-55 found that the 55k btus that they posted as the out put was actually closer to 70k with the shorter pellets.

Your method is slightly flawed one you have to take into account the start up cycle and two you would need to take into account that there are most likely still some pellets in the hopper i have never see a pellet stove that burns every single pellet when it runs out of fuel.

How long are your pellets?

I get the start up and in the tube pellets, but last year it was feeding anywhere for 6-8 pounds an hour on 2, 3 was lower and 4 was the same. So, I get nervous that it will start now and I dont want a problem when the prime heating season starts.
pellets are an inch or so on average

the shorter the pellets the more mass that can fit into the auger tube and in turn the more pellets you will feed in an hours time. have you ever tried the t-stat?

Sounds like we have the same board, they can adjust it, if you call them, I have the code to get in for feed rate and burn air, but it really has not made a difference...like I said, last season they said they had a known issue, as for my dealer, when their senior tech came out, they had to call EuroMax as they had no idea on this stove. I get the outside air temp and insulation but when your burning on 1 and 2, there is no way to hit 90 or so, unless it's 50 or 60 outside, but I I was referring to prime heating season, when it's 0 out or in that area, I even closed up the air a bit on the right side of the unit, I was get 6 inch or more flame height on 2, and was told it was only suppose to be 2-3 inches max, sent many pics while on phone with tech suppose, thank god for smart phones, they were getting real time info. a few times on 2 it was nailing the access plate, which is way to high.

So now I am having problems with my new board.At first I couldnt set the trim rates.Then the auger would stop and the fire would go out.The other night the thing over heated because the blower stopped. So I called the store where I got the new board and they called Tech. for me.Turns out the board needs programed to my stove.No problem just send me the procedure.So they did.Now I am to press the room fan on/off button,feed rate trim button and the combustion trim buttons all at the same time and watch the heat level lights.They should flash on and off to tell you which program the stove is set to.All it did was flash all 5 lights on the heat indicator panel.I am to repeat this until the lights flash 4 times for the program I want. Wont do any thing but flash all lights all the time when holding buttons down.So I called again and they suggest a service call.No problem I said but if the board is bad I am not paying for the service call.Let me talk to a Tech. and we can figure out if I am doing something wrong or if the board is bad.This way we dont waste a bunch of time.I will have to call you back is the answer I got.So now I wait.If you have programed your board did you run into this problem or I am doing some thing wrong.I dont know if there are any Tech. guys on here that can may help as well.
