Ok, I need a sanity check. Harman Accentra insert... I noticed at the end of last season (don't remember it happening other seasons) that when in a low burn state or shutting down I'd sometimes have pellets burning inside the end of the auger tube. Not far in, no further than one turn of the auger or so. Whenever the stove is feeding or burning more heavily the fire is completely out in the burn pot where it belongs.

So... is this normal / typical Harman behavior or do I have an issue somewhere?

Not to worry. Both my P43 & P61A do the same thing.

My XXV also used to do this.

Thanks all for confirming. I thought it was probably normal, just wanted to be sure I wasn't overlooking something.
