I just got my cat probe from condor.
1) Where do you drill the hole for the prob on the side with the door handle is or on the other side?
2)Can the probe work in front of the cats?
 
Stan its about 3 inches to the left side of the damper rod. Mellow has some good picture of his stove where the cat probe is located.
I'm not sure which thread its in. I just remember seeing it.
