For $200 per ton till the end of the month, then $210 per ton in September at Fehl's Agway in Temple, Pa, near reading.
Anyone have any input on these?

Crappy pellets. There were reports of pieces of metal in the bags too. lots of fines and ash.

Lowes near me has a good supply of pellets at $209.

We were finding plastic in the in these pellets....not in the bag....IN the pellets. It appears they extrude plastic through the same die sets as they use for wood pellets.

Not a very good pellet in my opinion. We tried some and none of our customers liked them.

I found lots of plastic within the pellets. Lots... :(

That was 2 seasons ago when they 1st came to market. Hopefully they have changed there ways. If not, then they may not last long.

Here is a pic from 2 yrs ago.

In Indy, Easy Heat pellets are made from recycled pallets. Same address for Easy Heat and Lovett Pallet.

Pellet Mill Installation
In May of 2012, Lovett Pallet ordered a mill to turn its wood off-fall material into fuel pellets. The installation is almost complete with intial, preliminary production beginning today! They are not a very good pellet. I believe their raw material quality flucates widely.

I am using Somerset as well. Menards is selling them for $198 a ton. They burn clean at higher settings, I cannot get they to burn clean at low settings. US Stove 6039 less than 5 of 9 Heat range.

Thats a great price for Sets. I had a 6039 for 1 season. Could never get it to run the way I thought it should. Called USSC, their customer service was informative, but I never got it to perform correctly....so I got rid of it.

I have hade the stove for a year, burns 1 bag a day at 3 setting with little ash,(usually white and fine) and 160 degree output at the room blower. Supplements my furnace so it runs little unless it's very cold.

I don't know much about pellet stoves so that may be good or not.
Burned cherry pits for a while last year, was able to adjust it and performed well. I usually can adjust air mixture or feed rate for different pellets to get clean and hot burn. These Somerset are giving slightly brown ash at 3 setting. Good pellets, Greenway might be a little better IMO.

Any assistance from more experienced pellet burner would be appreciated.
