Invincible board melt down has a happy ending

3 weeks ago the control board on my 20 year old Harman Invincible T experienced a melt down (where the small "Enhanced" board connects to the main board), resulting in my stove being completely dead. Having read that Harman has discontinued these parts several years ago and they were almost impossible to find, I panicked. Then I remembered an Ebay listing I had once seen by someone who repaired them. I did a quick search and sure enough, the ad was still there.

After a few emails back and forth, I mailed my boards to Brunner's Bits-n-Pieces in Allentown Pa. Jeff Brunner had it repaired and in the mail back to me within a week. He used upgraded components, and took the time to send me a detailed explanation of the problem. The cost was a reasonable $100 plus $25 for shipping. I received it a couple days ago and couldn't wait to get my stove back together and fired up. Happily, everything is working great again, thanks to Brunner's. If you have an older Harman (or other brand) with control board problems, I highly recommend them. Here's their website:
