So the other day I noticed the top auger was 'rubbing' up against the tube so I took the augur our and reseated it per the instructions on the Englander site (not making any noise now). While doing that I noticed the top auger motor had quite a bit of grease leaking out and the bottom had a little bit, is this anything to be concerned about?
Now for my other questions... The stove heats up the floor it's on to about 77-80F on the lowest heat setting with the blower on 1. The bottom 3 were 6-5-1 (and 5-5-1), last night I switched it to 4-5-1 which makes the fire go in and out, when I woke up it was 66 which is much better but still a tad bit cool. Any recommendations for getting to maybe 70-74? I switched it back to 5-5-1 after waking up and the house hit 74 in no time, not sure if it kept climbing since I had to leave. I'm burning Fireside Ultra's right now which are smaller pellets. On 5-5-1, 5-4-1, and 6-5-1 we are lucky to get 16 hours out of a bag.
OAK is hooked up and there is a natural draft coming through it when the stove is off, the exhaust goes through the chimney which is about 20ft up.
Anything I should be looking for in the flame when fine tuning? Never had an issue with black tips and the flame is typically 'active'. Thermostat on the corner of the stove hits about 130-150 and thermostat on the exhaust hits 100ish (3-4 ft up on a T).
When I burned through a bag of the barefoot's the other day (just to try them) I noticed a bright flame (maybe whiteish) with a blue color at the bottom of the flame, does this mean it needs less air?
