Replaced the tubes in my 1998 Lopi Endeavor

For the first time. They looked a little saggy, and were flaking like crazy. Plus, I had lost most of the original retaining pins. $68 at the local shop.

Thing is, after I pulled the old tubes out, it looks like they could easily go another 5 years. I considered putting them back in, but the hole diameters are different on the new ones, so I thought I'd see if it burned any different. Will post my findings.

New ones are definitely stainless, and I'm guessing the old ones were as well.

As for the performance of the new tubes, there's a noticeable difference. I'm shutting the primary down farther than previously. The distance between holes and number of holes is the same, but the new tubes have larger diameter holes.

Still haven't replaced the gasket.
