This is my second time getting wood for free from a guy on craigslist. Free just a little work.

The logs to the front right are definitely oak and a lot of the other wood appears oak also. The log on the left in the second photo doesn't look like oak. I think it is Norway maple but I can't tell for sure.

Cool thanks. When I cut one the shavings from the chainsaw were green. Then after it was cut the after the bark a white sap like foam appeared. I really cant complain it was free

Nice score. Now a day of cutting, then 2 days splitting by hand and 1 day to stack. Not bad for a few days work.

Hope it lasts me awhile

So *that's* what the Wood Fairy drives. I'm glad she doesn't leave that stuff under a pillow... Is that photo taken by a drone?

lol. I wouldnt mind having a drone that watched the house. Had a guy in a pickup pull over and look at the pile but pulled off. Probably realized he was on camera
