The past couple days my Vigas has not been burning as well as in the past. The flue temps for the most part are hovering below 300 degrees. After going through the settings I noticed the sevo starts at 100% bit then quickly drops to 45% where it stays. I thought in the past it would stay closer to 100% until I reached my set max flue temp. Could this have something to do with my poor burns? Or subpar wood. I'm burning a mix of kd lumber scraps and 2 year oak. I know I know. I'm going to have to find my moister meter. I have been burning from the same wood all season and have not run into this. Thanks for any insight

45 is pretty low… But I just went out to check mine. I'm about 30 minutes into a burn. It was 45.
I've never seen shutter stay open at 100%. Blower will. But flue comes down fast once it starts gassing. Max flue temp is just that.. Max. It's not a goal.
Are you getting a steady secondary in the bottom? that would be another indicator of wet wood… lack of a flame in bottom chamber.
Just checked my flue. 298. Now normal sweet spot for me is 350 or so. But it's early in the burn. You're above creosote formation temps.. but not by much.
End of your burn should be better if it's that wet oak that's out gassing water.

I do not know where my servo runs at but have had problems when the channel in the bottom of the firebox sometimes starts to get plugged and the furnace will not produce much heat. Checked out servo and found out it likes 45. Burn temperatures between 250-350.

Every time I've looked at mine since you have posted.. it's been at 45.
I'm near the end of burn.. boiler at 192
still 45% shutter. Fan's only at 39% Flue temp of 237. I imagine it's been bumping a bit at the max boiler temp of 195. (thus the low flue temp It's usually mid 300s)
