Feeling the Heat
Anyone have one they would recommend? I have been kicking around the Sony BTX500 and the Bose Soundlink 2 and someone mentioned the Braven 850. I have heard the BTX 300 series and the sound was
pretty good but not enough bass. I am not looking for earth pounding mind you, just noticeable.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Jim

I've used a Bose Soundlink a fair bit over the past two years (a friends, not mine). They sound fantastic in my opinion. If I had a need for a BT speaker I wouldn't go any further than the Bose. They sound like they should for the cost. I was very impressed....excellent battery life too.

I just bought the Cambridge Soundworks oontz, I don't use the BT but have an MP3 player. Read some reviews on it- kinda mixed but it is on sale right now for $49.99 so I figured I'd take the risk. IMO it sounds great, 10 hour batt time, rechargeable, about the size of a beer can. It seems like they have addressed the issues that the negative reviews reflected. I'm very pleased with the sound- listening to it right now as I type...

We bought some for my father in law last father's day, he seems to really like them I will see if I can find out what the model was

I like the price and sound on the Oontz products.....but I am not an audiophile.

I know a guy that works at jawbone. He always has the bluetooth speaker with him... Its a nice little speaker. I dont have one, never used one, dont know much about them.

But thats all ok, by flip phone doesnt have bluetooth on it anyways.... and i cant bring it with me most places i go....

Ended up with the Sony BTX 500. Their best speaker (wireless Bluetooth). It sounds great. We have company this coming Friday so I let her
open it and get used to it with her smartphone she is still getting used to. I downloaded an equalizer on her phone to tweak the sound even
more and gotta say it is an excellent speaker. Easily hear it all over the 1st floor even when it is not real loud. It gets a nice bass sound as well.

Only wish I could find a way to get my Asus laptops eq to work wirelessly thru Bluetooth as well.....can not find a program?

All in all would highly recommend this speaker!
