hey gang,
i finally got to meet Corie (and Corrie as well) they are getting settled in just fine and he is starting work on monday. first impression... he's gonna do just fine at ESW. we're gonna have a ball working together. Corrie is a sweetie as well, Corie's a lucky guy finding her.i imagine he will be keeping you guys posted but im not sure that he has internet up yet so i thought i'd post a quick update for him. im sure you will be hearing from him soon

That's great, Mike - I'm sure he will do well working with you. I got to meet both Cor(r)ies while chasing each other around Hartford on cell phones, using "big buildings" as landmarks to swap off one of the donor stoves. Finally, had to "bribe" a parking lot attendant to let us pull in and park "tailgate to tailgate" to swap over the stove.

Good people - both of them - hope all works out well.

Mike, You hit a home run hiring Corie. I met him, by storing a donor stove for him. He is a great kid, kinda that son you never had. :red: good luck to both of you, Quick

At the risk of sounding like the new guy around here :) - who is Corie? I'm curious; why does a meeting with him result in an announcement? Just curious,

Do a search on Podschelne and review the threads. Corie is a rising star in the stove design world.

Corie is the first person that any of us met who actually went to college for an engineering degree with the 100% goal of being a stove guy! Forum members got together and sent him to the HPBA show this year - you'll find a pic somewhere in the report from Reno (maybe in the pictures section).

Here is a little story on it.

Well that's cool! It's always nice to hear about another engineer in the industry. So what did he get, a Mechanical Engineering degree?

Hey guys, I'm ALIVE! I don't have the internet at the house and just got my work computer. But I'm doing well, settling in nicely, testing stoves and playing with lots of fun stuff!

Not sure how much I'll be able to be on the forum right now, only because I'm not sure I'll have the internet at home until I move.

Welcome to VA Corie, and one hell of a stove company.

BB - The Englander burning guy.
