Feeling the Heat

I have been noticing a creo build up over the past month. Clean it every two weeks, brush the chimney out twice a year (only burnt 60 bags per year) and my stove started to cycle off for no reason. It is on a thermostat and I would come into a cold room with half burn pellets in the grate. I burn FU's and cubex. Not the best but never gave me any issues last year. Cleaned the chimney (17feet of 4" flex down the chimney to a clean out Tee) about 14 bags ago but found I had a restriction (did not properly clean out the bottom of the tee) at the elbow on Sunday night. I cleaned the chimney, stove and started it up again and have the same issue. Hard start and the flame just does not want to keep going at setting 2. Always used to run it 2 or 3 with no issue. Does this sound like a bad combustion motor? From what i have read a bad pressure switch and thermocouple would not let the unit fire. I can run it for an hour and then it will trip and shut down with a build up of pellets in the grate.

On a side note this gave me the excuse to go get the Enviro Mini I wanted, but want to fix this one to sell it. Stove has been good to me for two years. Any way to check the motor?

Based on what I have read there are only two options.

1. I have a bad combustion motor.
2. Have too weak a signal going from the control board to the motor.

Does anyone know what the voltage reading to the combustion motor should be for the different heat settings on a Lennox Montage? Fount a combustion motor on sale for 175.. including the gasket.

Is the combustion fan making any noises or just sound normal. Really sounds more like an air leak. If it draws air from door, ash pan etc. this will cut down how much air comes through the burn pot and make it act like a bad blower. Check gaskets and latches before you purchase a new fan. Good luck.
