I clean my pellet stove every two weeks. First year I cleaned every week. Every month or ton (depends on weather and when it is convenient) I clean the venting and pull the comb fan and give it a decent cleaning. End of season, spray comb fan with graphite and clean convection blower and hopper.

I scrape the pot every few days, and shut down and clean when the ash pan get full. Just did mine today. Haven't counted bags through it since turning it on.

Is it recommended to pull the combustion and exhaust blower out after a ton or so during the heater season to keep those clean, or is that just a end-of-season type of cleaning?

I usually just pull the back plates out and clean behind there and get the exchange tubes extra clean after a ton or so but if cleaning the blowers and the exhaust venting is recommended more than the once a year I'll definitely make the effort.

I clean mine when the ash tray gets full..takes about 4 to 6 weeks.
Then I vacuum it out and empty ash tray...remove blower cover and clean in there..
Once a year Ill clean the fines box out.

I clean the glass and vacuum out the firebox once a week, leaf blower trick once a year.
I don't take anything apart.

Really good cleaning every weekend.

leaf blower the vent after each ton

never scrape the burn pot (thanks versa grate!)

pull fans and do major clean after season over, paint if needed, bring outside and air compressor blow it out. store with dry stuff inside

Full cleaning (with leaf blower) for each stove approximately every 3 to 4 weeks. Burn pot maintenance daily

I pull the heat exchanger cleaning rods each day when filling my PB105. I shut down and scrape the burnpot and clean under and around the ignitor once per week. Once per year I use a leaf blower and a stove cleaning brush with a long flexible handle and also clean the combustion fan.

I clean it every week -- that is scrape the burn pot, dispose ashes, take off the baffles and vacuum, access the igniteer and clean, clean all ash with a paint brush, and clean glass. About every three weeks, I pull out the inset and vacuum the fans in back, etc. After every ton, I linteat/vacuum my 28' liner to the roof.

Every 2 weeks, shut stove down, clean ash pan, shop vac all areas, run brush in interior chambers, clean glass. I have never opened my door when its running-ever. never want flames or embers flying around. clean vent every ton.
