image.jpg I'm down in Florida for my brother inlaws wedding.
He is having it on the beach and wants a bon fire.
He asked me to go get some wood at Lowes.
$5 a bag and each bag is .75cf

I'm in the wrong business.

OP: looks nice. Was the fire just for ambiance?

Yeah, ambiance and s'mores.

I was being a bit sarcastic with "now that's a bonfire"

I doubt many Floridians know how to light a "real" fire

I really like how the bags have info on where you can use the firewood....."fireplaces, firepits, stoves, grills.
Nice label.
Congrats to your BIL.

I didn't look but there probably is another label that tells you how to use it with a long list of warningso_O

True. Looks more like what I consider a "campfire".

To me, "Bonfire" flames usually peak at somewhere around 25 feet high
.

And if I recall, (from my younger days) bonfires sometimes involved BEER KEGS, instead of champagne glasses.;)

Anyone care to do the math on this......? .66 cu. Ft. @ $5.99 kiln dried. Hick or mesquite., I had a bag of cherry "chunks" that would make anyone quiver! IIRC .66 cu. INCH! @ $7.99

BTW. 0.75 cu. Ft. Bags of oak are $10.99 here. Mixed hardwood .75 wrapped bundles range from $3.99-6.99 here.
