I woke up to a lazy flame this morning and the burn pot full of red coal's.

This is a classic case of lack of air flow, either by a stuffed exhaust vent or OAK.

In my case it was the OAK outside -- snow had covered the mesh of the OAK.

Stove is now burning like it should.
 
Yup, same here. Opened the pellet bin lid to stop the feed and let burn down for 10 minutes. Opened the ash draw about an inch, shut the bin lid and voila - back in business till I get outside and clean out the oak screen. Using inside air for combustion but better then shutting down and she's burning hot, hot, hot.
 
My oak outside has a protective cover thingy on it ...
