I always cleaned my chimney from the top. Put this fall I had a steel roof put on the house and its slippery in this weather. So I want to clean it from the bottom. Was just looking on Amazon for brushes. They have the Gardus Prd 308 rod kit and the Gardus Rps 204 brush kit. The rod kit doesn't look like it will fit the brush kit.The rods on the brush kit look threaded and the rod kit look like there a quick connect. There is also the Rutland 17420 that has a 20' cable all ready on it. Any one have any experience with either or can you steer me in another direction. I need one that will flex.

Feeling the Heat
Does your liner go all the way to the top? If so, most people find that the linteater system actually works better than the sooteater system.

I actually just did my first liner sweeping from the bottom-up yesterday with the linteater and it worked out great. The 10 pc. kit comes with 4 36" Rods and a brush head for a 4" pipe, youd also need the extension kit to do a 20'+ run. For not much more you can buy another 10 pc. kit and get the extra rods + spare brushes, this is what I did.
