I've just recently encountered an issue with my blower not turning off. Yes, my stove is plenty cool, so that's not the issue. I was even away for a day and am still having the issue - there aren't even any coals! I'd rather have this problem than it not coming on, but wondered if this has ever been an issue with someone else???

Thanks for the input Mr. BossMan! I'm not the most mechanically inclined, but will go at it! How do these break so easily? I've only had the blower a year.
 
Check with your dealer - it may still be under warranty!
Even if it's not, many dealers would do the replacement for parts-only if you brought the blower into them.

If those two things don't work, post here again and we'll walk you though the testing and replacement.

We've had the opposite problem with ours....every 16 months, we have to replace the freakin' switch....it goes bad, and we have NO blower....I even made a jumper so that when this happens, I remove the switch and put in the jumper till we get to the stove shop for a new switch ($24)....then we have it blowing high all the time, and unplug it from the wall when we want it off. Have you experienced the "buzzing" from the brass trim on the lip ??

Ahhhh yes. The old' buzzing. Yes, it's there. It mostly depends on how high the blower is blowing. But...yes, it's there.

Had the Rivet break on the right side of the trim....now when it buzzes, I just pull it away a bit. The Blower, as noisy as it is, was a worthwhile investment

Off track a bit......I pulled out the air control all the way out....turned it loose 1/2 turn, then marked it with a Silver Sharpee.....unscrewed it off the stove, then marked it some more in 4 equal increments....this helps both the Wife and I with just how far we are regulating it.....the stove is very touchy with the adjustments. Now we can loosen it 1/2 turn, and see exactly where we are.....
