Its 4:30 and my recently purchased Englander 55 trp IPs (newer single auger design) auger motor is not turning.

-- in diagnostic mode it DOES turn.

-- bypassing the hopper lid switch had no effect

I did also wake up to a burn pot full of semi burned unburned pellets. I am at a loss right now and somewhat tired. Arrgh.

Try bypassing the firebox vacuum switch located above the convection blower....WITH THE STOVE UNPLUGGED.....connect the two wires together that go to that switch and see if it works....

Roger that, working on that now.

Yes you were correct it was the vacuum switch or more specifically the blockage of the vacuum hose.

.....and what caused that? A dirty burn caused by a semi clogged venting or rather exhaust venting.

The moral of the story is clean your venting. I really thoight that I would be ok for a half ton more.... not so.

I also have to point out that yes you do have to remember where your wires go. When I first reconnected them I connected them to the wrong terminals...... there are three and one of them is kinda hidden and that was the one I was supposed to use for the blue wire. : -O. All is good and burning fine :) I almost forgot to say thank you slvrbkk !!!!

Glad you're up and running :) I should have told you to blow that out first....wasn't thinking this morning...I'm in vacation mode at work!

Totally cool, you led me down the right road and now I will be warm and saved paying anyone to fix it. Pkus my "lady fri end" is coming over this evening so she will be warm and comfy. She loves the pellet stove but I have a feelling she wouldn't like it as much cold and silent. ;)

I hope she isnt too warm maybe i will take her temperature. LOL
