250 - 260 tons of garbage, LOL.

I'm a control room operator at a trash to energy power plant.

The wood furnace at home has a diet of red oak and maple.

Wood upstairs (mix of ceder, oak & silver maple) & the coal I got for Christmas downstairs... 15° and wind out of the northwest outside, mid-70s inside.

All the cardboard and warping paper, Just joking, this I only have Ash and some 6 year old Haedge

Same as every other day, locust and oak, or maybe just oak and locust.,

All hickory here. Smells like a Cracker Barrel restaurant in here....

Silver maple, mulberry, elm, and some oak. Got lots of maple and I really it like except goes away fairly quick.

My wife has already BURNT a tray of cookies. (does that count)

-----------------------------

Just fired up the Castile for a little flame ambiance.

.

Box Elder and Pine.

Wrapping paper...

Left the Hearthstone to burn out at home, now running some wet red oak through the future wife's Jotul Oslo.

The cookies were also burnt last night but I find it best not to mention that out loud.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Hi 1st post in this forum.

We had a storm a couple of years ago that dropped 3 red oaks, 2 post oaks and 1 quite large maple in my yard and we are still burning those in the Buck Model 81 insert in the basement fireplace.

Upstairs we are burning Somerset pellets in our Harman Accentra fs stove.

I burned the first pound of bacon for scallops wrapped in bacon. Good thing Costco sells it in four pound containers. In the stove I have some cherry and ash.

Trying to burn down our stack of soft maple. The temp is only 36F so the good stuff can wait until it gets colder.
