I cleaned my P61A today with my new ash vac that has been discussed here extensively. In a word, WOW. Awesome quality product for $60...how can you go wrong? I don't know why I waited 18 years to get one of these. The stove was very dirty but it has been a cold month and I put about a ton of MWP through it. I have found that this years MWP in the bags with the stove on them are very different than the bags with the cottage/house on them. Different color and different ash content. I also have the TSC bags but I haven't gotten to them yet.

Happy Holidays to all of you.

I love ours too. The filter design is awesome. It has a lot of power.

Outer last vac was a piece of junk. It always overheated then had to wait 30 minutes so it would start again. Dust always blew through the filter into the room.

Glad you like the Powersmith. Its a great vac at a great price.

Happy holidays.

Nice avatar change too ;)

My brand new one just stopped in mid vac while doing my first cleaning. Took a half hour until it worked again:(

A+ on this vac. Small, powerfull, and the little brush adapter is a great tool. Cleans inside and out!

Have nothing bad to say. Also paid 60.

Yeah, so easy and convenient, I use it every day when I scrape the fire pot, to suck up the ashes. I could just wait a week and dump the ashes that collect, but it's less dusty if I just Powersmith them out, and only takes seconds.

I just had one delivered to my door today. Anyone want to comment on how noisy it is compared to the cougar type ash vacs out there? Quality of it?

I love mine!

Love your signature about happy pellets, rayttt.

Great little vac. I had mine sitting next to me doing a cleaning the other day and was surprised that it's not louder than it is. Didn't blow my ears out.

Santa left one under our tree! Just need to wait until the stove needs cleaning.

They do a $10 off sale all the time. When I ordered mine it was out of stock. They emailed me when it was available and shipped it for free.

It's still a very good deal at $70. I tied a leather carpenters nail bag on mine. Everything I need to clean my stove is in there. A screwdriver, clip on flashlight, brushes, 3" plastic putty knife, glass cleaner and a cheap leatherman style multi tool. It all STAYS in that bag. No searching for tools with ash covered hands.

Also, I cut one of the extension tubes down to use as a coupler for the brush so it's not annoyingly long. The brush works great for NOT scratching up the finish on the stove for doing the final cleanup of debris on the stove lip, pedestal base, inside glass recess area, etc. Also works great for giving the outside of the ash pan a quick vac so when I take it outside to dump it, I'm not leaving a trail of ash on my floor.

we don't even have our pellet stove installed yet but I think I'll buy this just based on the comments here...
