I don't know about the bug, but slide that credit card over a bit more...I can't quite make out the acct# & security code. ;lol

I think it is a Beetle but not sure from the pic. The thorax and wing covers look like a beetle but the head is strange looking. I can't identify it. Do you have any more pics ?
 
Pretty sure he's already dedd...

Found one myself this summer by my wood stack...they make a hell of clicking sound when their tipped over on their back.
 
Excellent! I didn't suspect that he was harmful in any way, I was just really curious, because I've never seen one before…
 
My kids love these. They snap their bodies to make the click sound, and vault right side up if you hold them in your outstretched hand on their backs. Hours of family fun.

Ok , 10 seconds of family fun 'till everyone gets creeped out.

There's a big difference between a Beetle...a bug or a Volkswagen, and a Beatle...one of the "Fab Four". Gotta pay attention to the spelling. :rolleyes:
