Harman P68 distribution blower problem

Pine pellet fuel is $4.99 on sale here. Standard pellets on sale about 3.69. The Aspen blend smells great, better as the Elena has an open hopper top with the heat coming around it.

Our Veronica is basically the same stove without the secondary blower for the rear vents....

I might have to try a few bags.

Elena had two models, one with and one without the extra fan. I got the single and put it in the kitchen dining area. Usually only use a bag in a week and half but with this extreme weather been a fair amount more but still beats turning on the propain unit. We'll probably sit around that tomorrow and look out the window at it snowing and watch the temps fall again. Have a good and warm holiday.

Glad to hear that it was and easy an cheap fix.

We have a Harman Accentra insert downstairs & the Veronica upstairs.

I had to play with the draft & pellet feed rates quite a bit this season to get the flame right in the Veronica....

We buy 4-5 tons in bulk at the beginning of the season so I can set and forget the settings on the stove.

Now that we have the Accentra I'm considering trying a few different brands to run through it.

If I find a better "Bag" I'll look for them next season and adjust the Veronica accordingly.

I'd love to sell the Veronica & just put another Accentra (Free standing) upstairs. lol

Stebb, did this fix the distribution blower problem? I'm having a similar problem with my Harman XXV. The distribution fan shuts off when the stove is very hot so I'm not able to keep the stove temp setting past a certain number. Once the stove cools down a bit, it runs normal.

No, I'm not getting a error blink. Just visited my local store and they told me to take out the combustion blower and ensure all is clean. They have seen clumps of ash get in front of the ESP probe and 'insulate' it to the point it thinks the stove temp is below 140, causing it to shut off the distribution fan. Going to try this today and will post back anything I find out.

I pulled my combustion fan out Sunday afternoon and cleaned it out good, including up where the probe is. I have a corner install and getting the two wing nuts off were pretty difficult but finally got them with a pliers. So far, as of Tuesday morning, the stove is running great. Before the cleaning, I wasn't able to run mine in 'Room Temp' mode as my distribution fan would always shut off. I've been running in room temp mode for the past 36 hours with no issues. Its also getting really cold here in NH as temp has been dropping so stove is running hot. Before the cleaning, I would have definitely had issues with distribution fan shutting off. I've also noticed that my flame doesn't seem as big as it was before the cleaning, which might have been caused by the probe being insulated with ash prior to the cleaning. So for now, the problem seems to be fixed and stove is running like new.

good luck. a new probe was next on my list of things to try. i don't have a surge protector either but should since that can fry the board. Let me know how things go.

I ended up having a bad ESP and once i replaced it, all my distribution, combustion fan issues went away.
