Happy New Year,

I had problems with this saw and ended up getting a new carb installed (wouldn't stay running). Ever since that happened it seems as if the darn thing has no power. Runs slow and when cutting it really slows down and seems to take awhile to get through wood. Any ideas to save me a repair fee would be welcome. :)

I agree that you may need to tune the carb + make sure the carb mounts are tight. Check for dirty air filter, fuel filter, and spark arrestor on muffler / exhaust port for carbon. Simple stuff and corrects a lot of problems. Cheers!
