…so I happened to pop into an italian stove forum that EastMtn pointed me to, and in the last couple days, a list of new stove parameters for the Piazzetta Sabrina/Sveva was posted:

The augur rates for Power 1 to Power 5, which are settings P6 to P10 in the list above, are now a little higher. My factory feed rate settings for my Sabrina actually matched the smaller Monia's. In a previous thread, I adjusted my feed rates up and surprisingly, are very close to the new updated feed rates:

My feed rates:
3.3 / 4.7 / 6.0 / 7.0 / 8.2

New Sabrina factory feed rate:
3.2 / 4.4 / 5.6 / 6.8 / 7.9

The combustion air rates listed above were set with a manometer, and are not the factory spec.

So, with the new factory setting info, I tweaked my settings today so that my augur feed rates for Power1 to Power5 are:

3.3 / 4.5 / 5.7 / 6.9 / 8.1

After doing that, I used my manometer and checked my combustion fan speed with the result for Power1 to Power 5:

2000rpm / 2100rpm / 2300rpm / 2500rpm / 2650rpm

All higher than the original factory settings, though I'm not at elevation, 165ft above sea level. Flame is bright yellow and active.

Are those lbs/hr? Low seems very, very high

That's how many seconds the augur turns in a 12second cycle. 3.3 secs is supposed to be 1.3lbs/hr, and 8.1secs should be close to 5.7lbs/hr, which is its rated capacity of 47k btus. I've been upping the top figure to get the stove to burn at its rated capacity of 5.7lbs/hr, as it originally burned about 5lbs/hr. I haven't checked the bottom figure, but I don't think it can be adjusted much lower than 3secs.

My fan speeds are 2200 2330 2450 2580 and 2700 rpms. With all the winter action your state has been getting lately you need those higher BTU outputs.!!!

This makes much more sense :)

Yep, all this tweaking seems a little silly, but when it's brutal outside, below zero temps, strong winds off the frozen lake, you want to get every btu out of the stove that you can.
