Hi everyone. I've been looking around at different wood boilers trying to make up my mind if I should drop the cash for one for the last few years. Well I finally bought one. I came across a slightly used (2 years old) Biasi 3Wood5 boiler on Craigslist for a decent price and bought it. I then was able to do some trading around with a local plumbing / heating tech to get it installed. It's been all up an running for the past week but I was wondering if anyone might have some handy information on what temperature I'm supposed to have all these valves at? There's quite a few of them and I don't know If I have them all set correctly.

I've got the boiler in the basement of my 1,000 sq foot house heating the baseboards in the house, a hot water coil in the oil boiler that's next to it, and running underground for a short run into the radiant slab in my 28x32 garage.

If you like burning wood in this boiler, you will love burning coal in it. Despite the name, this boiler was designed to burn coal. Besides, once you start burning coal, you will never go back to wood.
