I'm not one to comment on handyman skills, but my wife came across this on Craigslist and I must give credit where credit is due. Let me know what you think.

HMMM, interesting, huh? Let's get a different view.

What is the pile of wood for next to the stove?????

Nothing to say here.

I believe the OAK is held in place by a bucket.

Probably safer than the Chinese window stoves. Do not know what to say about the wood by the side of the stove

That is OSB on the outside of the window. That might last for a rainstorm or two.

I don't understand what's wrong with this. Unless it is not too code to install the stove so close to the radiator heat. ==c

THAT'S IN MY HOMETOWN! I hope he doesn't live next to anyone I know! Come to think of it, everyone has moved out of the dying, infested town than can! Let it burn !!!

I wonder if he's posted on here yet !!!

I would have gone with MDF rather than OSB! Better looking, especially if you put a coat of varnish on it...........

Why haven't you seen hybrid heating systems before? It's heating the water system. We could all get into some trouble on comments on this.

Those are all connected row homes in that area so when he goes, the whole block goes. It's a very steep street too so the fire will burn right up the hill! I think, if I remember right, that's the brain surgeon's house....

my major concern would be the unpainted wood on the outside . it is exposed to the elements and may rot. maybe he hasn't got to it yet
