So I sealed a bunch of leaks I found during start up of my stove today by smoke leaking out. Hours later as I am about to go to bed and shut off all the lights and for s***s and giggles I grabbed the flashlight to see if I saw any thing leaking. The only thing I saw was the beam of the light in the room, nothing at the stove.

There is no smell and the beam is barley visable, I had to try hard to see it. Could there be a leak that I cannot detect by smell? If I can see the beam I would think its smoke but again I didnt smell anything.

The stove is a Harman P61-2. I shut it to tonight to be safe.

with the flashlight you will see smoke. what do you mean by the beam is barley visable, I had to try hard to see it? do you actually see smoke? You have to look around the stove and all the exhaust system(chimney/vent). Let us know what you find.

Perhaps there's still a very small amount of smoke in the room and you're used to the smell? Perhaps your flashlight has a decently focused beam and you're just seeing that? (Rayleigh scattering)

Could see anything that I could definatly say was smoke... I shut it down and as it ramped down I got a decent smoke smell and looked around with light in the dark and couldnt see any leaking out

Hmmm, Duravent by chance?

OAK installed? Properly sealed? Sufficient vertical rise? (nat draft)

Everything is sealled up... I did notice the intake damper was flapping, maybe that is where I am getting some back flow? I want to install an outside air intake buy it would have to be fairly long 15-20ft.

Natutal draft seems good, I can feel it
