Some aren't getting with the program I guess, mine which is a regional one does and some of the stores here also will take them. But how many at a time I don't know.

They also can make a decent item to put under mulch since water will go through them and into the ground.
Now THAT'S a great idea, Smokey! I keep buying that black stuff and throwing away all those bags!

That's what I did last year and they worked great
 
I find they are great for cleaning up the yard.. I have two Rottweilers.:)
 
Be very careful doing this as the pellet bags are full of small holes and will leak and the last thing you want is smelly garbage liquid leaking form that cheap garbage bag.

As recycle bags they are ideal, in fact you can fill them with regular recycle stuff and a few extra pellet bags.

Hey Smokey....Madame DeFarge insists on using them as garbage bags - and so we do. No problems yet but I will be sure to keep wet stuff out! Nice to see you.
 
i only see this becoming less and less of an issue.
these things are raw material for re-claimers and then manufacturers.
when they take your plastic, they're not doing it as a favor.
