How do you change the bottom three settings?????
Currently I am running 3-5-2. Getting some nice heat with heat range and blower on 7-9. To change a value press one of the lower buttons and press both up buttons in heat and blower. To lower press down buttons. My favorite settings are 1-4-2 for temps 25-35 degrees.

OK let this newbee start over please
I'm burning 50/50 blend of corn and pellets. My vent is 4 inch and goes out the basement wall about three feet with a horizontal cap. I haven't finished the vent because of bad weather here in Michigan. Once finished I will have a EVL of 21, I went from 3" to 4" just out of the blower.
My factory settings were 1-4-1 they are now 3-5-1 lower and the upper are 7&9 I have had it to 9&9 . My fuel is Maeders pellets and 12% corn.
At these settings I'm not getting enough heat. I've tried settings of 4-7-1 and burn pot filled and didn't burn the mixture very well, black unburned fuel. And dark ash. I tried increasing the air with no luck. Can someone suggest a better setting please.

At settings 1-4-1 on a 7 or 8 heat range, how is your burn and heat output? Once we establish a base line of combustion you can increase the fuel and air into the mix. Also what mode are you in when burning corn/pellets mix?

Double check the thermostat jumper wire on the control board. If it's loose or missing it will keep the stove in a low burn....

The other thing, you are not trying to heat an unfinished basement are you?

OK sorry for taking so long to get back. My best friends home burned to the ground, been helping them.
The basement is finished, 6 inch concrete with 6 inch stud walls insulated.
I am running bottom three at 3 -5-1
Blower on 9 and heat range on 9
Burning a 70/30 mixture of pellets and corn. Pellets are Meaders and are hardwood. Corn is 11% dry fuel corn.
Yes I know that the corn requires more air.
Well I need more heat, so I bump up the bottom three to 4-7-1
Thinking I'll be OK, not...I'm over feeding at 4-7-1 and under feeding at 3-5-1
I've tried 3-6-1 and get by best burn, with nice flame, light gray ash and around a 7 inch high flame.
But not enough heat. The corn at 4 turns to tar and builds up in the pot and becomes klinkers. I need a half setting like 3.5
At 3-6-1 my fuel is about 1/2 inch below the sterrier at 4 its 1/2 inch above the sterrier.
The stove is clean. The burn pot is warped a touch.
I hate bothering mike on the phone. Maybe someone will see this and be able to help.oh at 4 it over heats also.

Try sending Mike a message through the website. Then he can answer when he gets a chance, and you're not bothering him that way.

What are you trying to heat? Just the basement? The whole house from the basement?

A setting of 3-5-1 on my stove would cook me out of the house at 9-9, unless it's really windy where you are. It's currently 3 degrees out and my CPM is keeping my 2400 sq ft in the low 70's on 1-5-1 (need to replace the door gasket). Stove is currently at 7-9.

Try just pellets in pellet mode. Start off at 1-4-1 and see how it goes. You have to establish a base line. If combustion is good at those numbers then start to tinker. Might just be the pellet being used. There is a difference but no more than 10%. My home is 2400 Sq ft and at 8 degrees outside I'm holding at 66 degrees inside. I don't expect more than that.
