I am about to pull the trigger on a Regency GCI-60 pellet stove insert?

Are you happy with yours?

My quote is for $3,100 + $100 for the rails..is this reasonable quote

I'm also considering buying the GC 160 but the price I'm being quoted here in CT is $3700.

Central pa at a true value hardware store...one other quote I got was 4100 and a 250 rebate and owner would match rebate for a total of 3600

I just placed my order this morning at 3100 and 100 for rails

Pharm,
I just bought my GCI 60 (insert) from a local dealer in New Cumberland, PA and it was $2500. I was extremely lucky in the fact that the unit was ordered by mistake and the dealer called me to see if I wanted it. I read the reviews online and found that your price is reasonable for the area and the situation. I also tried two types of pellets until my Appalachian hard wood skid arrives and Stove Chow (Home Depot) completely destroys Quality One (Tractor Supply) in creosote and heat output. Make sure you burn great pellets, if you can find any. The unit looks great and is extremely easy to maintain. Looking forward to my first disection of the unit to do a full clean. I think I sucked up some drywall dust while I was renovating my living room with the pellet stove on. Hope that helps ease your decision. Looking forward to more posts and updates.

I have the Hampton GC60 - FS standing version and just had it installed in October and I believe the stove was around $3500 here in Northeast CT. Love the stove, a little noisy and requires the volume turned up on the TV when running high with the cold temps but the toasty warmth is worth it. I tested a bunch of different pellets and the stove handled them all. I run the AWF white pine full time now. Stove comes apart easy for cleaning as well. Check out the videos on the the Enviro M55 as it is pretty much the same setup as the Hampton. http://enviro.com/media/videos/ Best of luck to you.
