WEEELLLLL, Did it ever start???
Oh, yeah! Runs great! I bet I can even put the old (stabilized) gas back in.

Well, I`m glad I`m not the only one! I had been using the chainsaw to cut a beam in the barn. The darn thing jammed on me halfway through the cut. The chainsaw coughed and stopped. I was able to pry it out, and tried starting it, but it wouldn`t start. The chain was just jammed in place and wouldn`t turn. This was a few years ago, and I didn`t have much experience with saws or small motors. After wrenching my shoulder apart from trying to start the damn thing, I decided to bring it to the local shop. The kind of shop that has a bunch of old guys sitting by the window, drinking coffee and watching the day go by. Well, I walked in, put the saw on the counter, and told my story to the lady clerk about how the saw wouldn`t start, and the saw blade was jammed.
She pushed on the saw brake arm and disengaged the saw brake.....
I drove away from the place and 1 mile away I could still hear the old geezers laughing....
I watched a very similar thing occur, I was waiting in line to return an item at Walmart and the fella in front of me had a wild thing saw in a buggy and was in a foul mood in addition to smelling like a brewery. He was loudly complaining about what a piece of junk it was, locked up and had never been cranked........after they called an elderly gentleman that worked in the garden center to the desk and he received a cussing for trying to talk with the customer, the customer assured him that he very well knew how to run a saw. I reached over into the buggy and reset the chain brake , there were a couple of people who saw me do it. The gentleman from the garden center said,we'll take it outside and fuel it and see if it will crank, he received another cussing and was told it wouldn't crank he wouldn't even be able to pull it. I watched through the window, it cranked on the second pull. I told the fella from garden center what I had done later and we got a chuckle out of it, the customer left madder than when he got there, but his saw was running like a top.Well, I`m glad I`m not the only one!
