Wiring a skytech3301 to Quadra Fire Classic Bay 1200

I bought a skytech 3301 to use with my quad cb 1200. The hooking posts are different. The thermostat. That came With the stove has the traditional u shaped connector. The skytech has the same shape but is covered with a bendable metal flap and I can't fit it where the screws connect it to the back of the stove... Help!!!

You could cut off the skytech connectors and attach your own or do what I did and cut the off and just attached the bare wire to the stove's screw terminals. It's no big deal as long as they are connected.

Thanks....I'm not handy with electrical...I'll try your advice and let you know how it works....thanks again!
