I'm through 4 full ton, with only two ton left. Not sure if that will get me through April or not. We shall see.

Will be hitting the forth ton this weekend but have been eating corn blend in the Harman and straight corn for the Bixby when the temps go below 0 which has been almost two months of below normal with February being so far over20 degrees below normal. Figured use against record high price of propain of now $5.20 a savings hitting easy $30 per day. Making the payback a year ahead of 3 years planned, and staying warmer.

I too am at about 8 tons...2 remain in stockpile...not looking good to finish up. :( at this point My oil burner has only run 19.2 (Intelladyne HW 3250) hours all season (.75 nozzle @ 140psi= 17.088 gallons) Based on todays oil prices , I fixing to save well over $2000.00 just this year!!

I haven't connected the 500 gallon propane tank to the house yet or put the propane burner on the spare door. So no fossil fuel used this year. yet...... ;)

We have 3/4 of a ton left. We started with 2-tons in late October this year...but we don't heat with the stove overnight or while we are at work.

Just bought 20 more bags which brings my reserve up to 75 bags. I have burned 2 1/4 tons so far from Nov. 1st. I should have more then enough to get me through to May. Last year burned 3 tons. My Pellet (Enviro EF-2) stove is primary heat source and runs 24/7,365 unless off for cleaning.

I didn't actually need it but I figure its better to have hotter water circulating ...less wear and tear on equipment...Its because of my "set back thermometers coming online kinda the same time..

burned 169 bags.
have 246 left.

128 bags burned
125 remaining / rough estimate

Started with about 1/4 pallet from last year, bought 3, and now I'm sitting on 1.3 ton. So maybe about 80 bags gone. Not bad since I feel like I dropping a bag in every day and I started in late September...

Into my second ton this winter but was away some.

This is my first winter in a few years after 5 summers. o_O The snow in Tierra del Fuego and the Andes passes I motorcycled over didn't count because it was summer snow and ice even near the equator! !!!

I expect more summer snow and ice riding to Deadhorse, AK this year.

Now you know why I haven't been in our pellet crib much.

Nice!! !

Just finished my third ton

47th bag of 1st ton.

Burnt about 2 1/4 tons so far. The Hamers are burning well. Finished up the Vermont softwoods, they were ok, not great in my stove. They left a weird residue in my hopper.

35 bags of pellets
5 bags of corn mixed with pellets
52 bags of pellets left
1/4 tank of oil burned

Just short of 2 tons. My father has burned over 5. Similar sized house @ 2000 sq ft. Oh, what a difference good insulation makes.

I was counting each and every bag along with posting my usage on a spreadsheet like last season. It got so cold, and stayed there that I was just running 24x7 stopping only to clean the stove and immediately starting up.
My best guess is a little over 2 tons.
