I had a service call on a ten year old Harman. I found the feeder assembly and some related components were damaged. I called Harman informed them what I found. Harman called me back the next day and I was told they were sending out replacement parts for the customer at no charge. I made the customers day. It is so nice selling an American made product that the maker stands behind.

Its nice they made a product that can last for ten years. Not hatch up a stove and have everything made else where. Hope that they have not done that to Quads.

I think you have your information wrong. HHT owns Harman and Quadrafire. QuadraFire has a great stove but it is not a Harman.

I had heard that some Quads were being outsourced:( You are very right in that Quadrafire is no Harman. Been there, done that. No more Quads in our collection.

Well that's a nice story- but all too often vendors/mfrs go by the book warranty-wise. Its all business you know...

Not in dealing with Harman. Now this is not Ford, General Motors, or Westing House.

Always great to hear a story like that!

Take the cheapest Harman, probably the P38 and do nothing but fill and take out the ash for a month or two, what stove will still be running? Harman or Quad? I am running five different stoves right now. Have been running pellet stoves since 83. Good Gleason exhaust fan motor, Dayton convection blower etc. But I've only run the Santa Fe for a season and help clean a couple of the other Quads.

I think you are selling YOURSELF short, Eric. I have a feeling that YOU had a lot to do with that level of support! How about moving to Georgia? I hope that some of that 'Harmanism' wears off onto the Quad tech support guys! I love my Quads. BUT I can't compare them to anything else honestly because that's all I've owned .... in pellet stoves, anyway. Good for you!
